While camping near Midway Kentucky., we spotted this stable where the Queen of England keeps many of her horses, that is what we were told anyway.

Beautiful image, Bob - the place looks classy enough for the Queen's horses. I lived in Nashville for four years while a grad student at Vandy - I don't remember Midland or where it is. Looks pretty - I'll have to "Google" it.

Jer, if you google it, try Midway, KENTUCKY, after almost 7 years on the road in our motorhome, it seems I can't remember where I have been. the senior moments have started. thanks Bob

Some of those barns are bigger and nicer than most houses. Lots of money there but an interesting area nevertheless. That is a nice photo.
Bob, did you spot any of the quilt barns in Kentucky? They are really nice and would make a great photo series for someone.

Great shot! It looks like one of those tourist stops near highways that my dad always loves to stop for and check out, but bores my mind out I'm jealous of the weather I see there.

Susan, I didn't realize what a quilt barn was until i googled it and saw some photos and yes I had seen many but never took any photos. I did find this snapshot of an old barn down the road from our campground. jaieger, I bet I have met your dad somewhere along the line, I do the same thing. Bob

Three very nice images Bob, that is some horse barn but love the old barn. One thing about RVing, one does get to see a lot of landscape.
