It is cold outside ...
Posted By: volley, 12-28-2010, 10:20 AM

Cold wind and some rain yesterday created this in my garden. During 30 minutes of sunshine today I could take a few shots.

Meanwhile it is -10C again ...

Great shots. Ice is so nice to photograph, especially with things encased in it.

These are beautiful, like glass sculptures. You must have had a LOT of freezing rain. Has it melted yet?

Ooo ... wicked cool :-) Is this the result from the kind of rain that freezes instantly as the drops hit something? I recall getting caught by such driving a car, had to stop frequently to scrape the ice off the windshield and to make it worse only a snails pace would do for speed because the road surface got very slippery :-I

Yes, we have had very low temperatures for days and the raindrops were freezing to ice immediately (on the ground as well...)
Thanks for your comment!

You turned a simple subject that we may see everyday, into a piece of art. I will take one of each and thanks for sharing natures beauty. Bob
