It is cold outside ...
Lens: Panagor 2.8/90 Macro Camera: K200D Photo Location: My garden ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F8
Posted By: volley, 12-28-2010, 10:20 AM

Cold wind and some rain yesterday created this in my garden. During 30 minutes of sunshine today I could take a few shots.

Meanwhile it is -10C again ...

Yikes this looks cold!
I tried to take some similar photos a couple of days ago of ice outside, but yours are far superior. Nicely done!

Thanks Frogfish! I assume you have a different temperature in Shanghai right now!

I love the "crystalline" sharpness of these. Beautiful job.

It hard for me to relate to the cold today - it's almost 25C already this morning.

Not too different. Winter here too (although it's been a gorgeous December with temps up to 20C+) - the cold weather appears NY Eve, down to -5C

Thanks Jer! So you can walk out of your house without having to pull the winter boots on? And your boat is not locked in ice?? Must be a tough life

Yeah, I have spent a few days in Shanghai early in December and it was very pleasant weather indeed.

Now that is cold!! I lived in Germany 8 years (Heidelberg), but don't remember ice like this. Although, I did hear stories of the Neckar River freezing over many years ago.

Thanks for commenting Tom. And yes, compared to nortehrn Germany the weather in Heidelberg usually is quite mild. Cheers!
