This stuff is quite amazing, in particular Birch Shadows I think. Do you do anything besides vertical panning (which is at the time of the shot...?) PP-wise?

Thank you! Vertical panning, indeed, some sharpening and adjusting levels, all in LightRoom. And for Birch Shadows, I decreased 'clarity' completely....

You indeed have captured the very fabric and soul of your subjects.

Thanks Sparkle! This is what I fall back on when there's nothing else noteworthy to capture, I guess.....

Rense, I really like the last two. Well done. I have been trying this lately myself. Just trying to find the right tree stand. JIM

I like the second one and the last one. Love to see what you and Jimbo can come up with when you see a stand of trees.

I'd say Birch Shadows and Q. Rubra are my faves out of these. Will have to try it sometime also.

Nice work Rense. You have rhythm, pattern, colour and complimentary colours, motion, texture and visual poetry too. Doesn't get much better.

Thanks Jim! And I noticed your vertical panning shots of tree stands and I liked them very much!

I really like that last two as well. I played around with this technique yesterday on some type of bush. I got some interesting shots. I also tried a couple horizontal sweeps, before I filled my card.
