Just got my 100mm Marco, my first prime lens... the difference with the zoom lens are so great that after few weeks I still haven't take my 100mm off from my K10D. Love it soo much~

Congrats on the new lens. I like the heron shot a lot - some might say he's looking the wrong way, but I like the comp the way it is. Have you taken any macro shots yet? Getting up close is fun - and once you've got one prime, you'll want more
