Fall on the Umpqua
Photo Location: Sutherlin Oregon
Posted By: Bob Harris, 12-30-2010, 08:58 PM

We have never been to the northeast during the fall because we are traveling to warmer areas of the US. We camped in the area for a month and watched the changing of the leaves in Oregon and now not too disappointed we weren't in the n/e.

thanks Kyle for the add, it is a wonderful area to relax and fish.
Jim, usually we are in AZ or CA during the fall, so seeing the changing of the leaves was special for us fair weather followers. thanks Bob

Love #2 Bob - that is a a print & hang shot (maybe just dial back the highlights in the river a notch or two).

A lot of the shots you post on here look a little soft and I can't work out why that is - maybe it is the software you are using to convert them ?

Bob: Yeah that appears soft as well on my Mac. I don't think it's your shots - I think it may be the software you are using and how you reduce them for posting on here .... or if you don't reduce them before posting on here then that could be the problem with the forum software causing it during downsizing of large files.
