A couple of shots of sailboats that were still hanging around the piers at Newport in early December

Wow - these are serious yachts. The shot on the right is classic New England (we lived in MA for a time). Looks as if Tree of Life is being prepped for winter at the dock.

Nice job.

#1 seems to lack contrast - looks a little dull, I'm sure you could liven that up with PP.
#2 on the other hand has great colours and contrast !

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

@Bob, I hope to see the "Tree of Life" under sail before I leave, although I am only here until the beginning of May.

@Sparkle, thanks I was blessed with some great color in the background from the wharf buildings

@Jer, These are some of the nicer ones I have seen around here.

@Frogfish, I'll have to tinker with that first shot some more and see if I can get the sky to pop out a bit more. Unfortunately there wasn't a good angle I could get to without a boat to help the background.

@charliezap, it is nice to live here, my wife and I have a place downtown we are renting while we are here for the next few months and it provides a wealth of photo opportunities.
