A few flowers will grilling.....and a BUG!
Posted By: GLThorne, 10-04-2007, 05:31 PM

While grilling - my night to cook - I decided to take a few shots of some flowers after some much needed rain we got. Then, along came this hummingbird moth for a few shots. Must have been the T-bones!!

Please disregard the "unfocused" look of the signature line. Something in between my upload and Flickr get's goofed. Been useing the Pro account for over a year now with no problems, but all of a sudden..........

( I think I know what it is. I've been useing one of their new uploader tools. Let's see if the last picture is clearer???)

Any-who, hope you enjoy.....

TESTER... Tell me what you think!

Very subtle

These are great.. I have always been a fan of the close ups.. What lense and setting where you using???

Also I really the like the subtle touch you gave the last picture.. The small rose in the rain drop is very nice.. Did you do that with Photo Shop?

Nice work indeed .... I am looking forward to getting out and taking some close up shot now.
Picked up my new Tamron 90 Macro lens this afternoon in my lunch break ... now to put it on the camera and have fun.

Marigolds, a blue sage of some sort, and vincas (or impatiens), nice garden.

Beautiful photos.

Very nice shots, all of them! As for the signature line, I think the last one is perhaps a slight bit better but so is the second last so perhaps it's more a matter of the contrast as it stands out less in the previous shots.

Thanks all! Maybe I'm just too critical on myself.

The lens is actually the 18-55 kit lens and a close up filter.

...and those are mums in the first 2 shots. They are just starting to take off!

Thanks again!!!
