Smores!
Lens: FA 50mm f/1.4 Camera: K-x Photo Location: Living Room ISO: 1600 Shutter Speed: 1/30s Aperture: F1.4

We often roast smores when we get the fireplace going, so it's a fun family tradition. Our living room has terrible lighting, but fortunately this worked out even with 1/30s.
The lighting on her face was really red and orange from the fireplace flames, so I decided to go with the sepia tones. If I were to do this shot again I'd go a different angle to see the fireplace to give more context.
BTW, if any of you are wondering why her bangs are so short, it's because she found a pair of scissors and lopped them off.

Good photo and a pleasant B&W conversion (better hide those scissors though). Congrats and thanks for share.

Darling photo--I think the sepia works nicely, though I like your idea of using the fireplace for context next time, too! She's still beautiful with the short bangs And don't feel too bad, our 3 year old's bangs are finally growing back out after she did the same thing. Must be a rite of passage of sorts, as I think they all do it at one time or another!

Thanks Kierra. I think you're correct about the rite of passage. I know others who have had the same problems.
