You definately captured the cold reality of the river. Love the overall feel and and tone of these images. Amazing how the river ice has formed in some places and not others. So many layers in these, the more I look the more I see. Thanks for posting!

dave, that are two nice "wintery" landscapes and I like the broken ice patterns. Nice place to keep in mind for the spring when the first green appears on the river banks.

Yep, thats COLD looking...brrrr. You even picked up a bit of the classic "S" shape in the second just like all the books tell ya. I like all the broken ice too.

Nice photos Dave, looks really cold. I also really like #2. We've had about 9 inches of snow the past few days here in northern Alabama. I'm starting to think someone moved my house up north without me knowing!

There are now GPS ready or GPS contained cameras which will enable the location to appear on the EXIF data.

Hey Dave - these shots say "WINTER" loud and clear. There also very nicely done.

BTW - it's only 37F outside here right now (relief is coming tomorrow).
