HDR of Brightwell's Mill in Amherst County Va. A lot of the credit goes to fellow pentaxian Gene for pointing me to this beautiful spot.

Wow! this is amazing.... I find it incredibly artistic, could see this framed and on my kitchen wall. It really does blur the boundaries between photography and painting...

The more I look the more I like it... the old wheel on the side where the water is brought in, the dam and spillway. I love the season you shot this in as well, it suits the subject.

The water is really nice too, and a sprinkling of snow, matted grasses...deteriorating lettering on the building.

This is poetry.

wow wow ... really really nice

Thanks, I would have liked more of the tree but I was backed up against a bridge. It's a beautiful spot.

I am not a great fan of HDR but I do like this image. If it were mine it would do the following: straighten the building, clone out the trash and the hydro wires, do some selective sharpening and or blurring, print it and hang it on a wall.

Can supply straightened rendition of this beautiful image if you like.

In my view the Hydro lines are hardly visible but a perfectionist would remove them.

The reference to trash, I'm not sure of. The stones, culvert and tank (?) beside the building appear to me to add complimentary colours.

I too am not an HDR fan but this one is stunning. A little straightening is all it needs to my eye then, as Heinrich said, print it and hang it on the wall. Well done.
