Two Shots; My Time Is Done, Birdy Friend

its been very overcast these few days, slightly raining and i really love to shoot in these conditions

oh Wow! both shots are terrific, but I love love what is left of the child's bike. Just fantastic. The colour of the leaves are strange, I like the effect, but I am wondering if that is something your did pp?

The bird makes me smile. What a great gift!

RoadKill, you do really fine stuff in the rain. As a wildlife guy I really like #2 but #1 I can appreciate as the sort of shot I would never think to take but like when I see it.

yea i did pp the bike to some extent, i made the dark areas darker and highlighted the highlighted areas (if that makes sense lol) i also desaturated the background

but that is pretty much the same colour as the leaves just a bit more duller

that bird flew up right behind me, it wasn't scared at all i was probably about 1 meter away from it, crazy stuff.

The bike is my favorite but I love the bird too. Great catch.

I really like both of them, but the bird is a stand-out for me. Wattle bird?
