So does holding your breath stop your heart

Oh - just realised I haven't commented on these. #1 is a simply SUPERB shot !
On the heart, not for about four minutes. On the comment thank you. I do, on wildlife shots, hold my breath before hitting the shutter. Forgot, never hit the shutter, just roll you finger acvross the botton. Just the movement of one clicking can move the cmaera. Cheers JIM

You said you use a 2-second timer, but do you ever use a remote instead to stop camera shake? Just curious. BTW, these are outstanding, especially #1.

Another great set from you, Jim. They're all beautifully done, but I do like those reflections on the ice and water in the second one. There's something magical in portrayals of that kind of ice.

Depends on the shot. Usually I just use a mirror lock up [2 second delay] I find the mirror lock up gives less fibration then using the remote. I have both a cable one and a wireless one. I will use these for long exposures. The one I can preset the amount of time I want the shutter open. I am trying to stay with one set up and for me the big thing is SLOWING down! Cheers JIM
