Four Seasons with Optio W80
Camera: Optio W80
Posted By: tessfully, 01-13-2011, 04:41 PM

I have been in a one year relationship with my Optio W80. She has taught me to see the world, really "see" ...from tiny tide pool to great oceanic views. Thought I would post a couple of pics from each season.

As an aside: How do you folks choose which photos to share? What a chore! Of course I want to show you everything I have ever taken (nope, can't keep me locked away in the closet!!)

Anyway, for those who might think of purchasing the newer model the W 90, I say go for it! It is a great addition for lots of practical reasons.

Summer (it was so hard to narrow this down! Most are from my canoe trip with the girls.

Very nice series of photographs, you have a wonderful eye and certainly get the most out of your W80. We have an 80 and 90, theyu are great walk around, put in your pocket and snap camera that gives very good results. Post as you want, I will sure take a look. thanks for sharing. Bob

Bob, thank you for the kind remarks! Now that I got this mass posting out of my system, I can get back to more reasonable numbers for sharing.

Right now most of the photos that I am working with are taken with the Optio. It will probably take me awhile to get used to the K-x, although I take both camera with me on my hikes, I am always reaching for the Optio first.

Thanks again for taking a look and commenting...

p.s. love your sig. line, must be a great lifestyle for a photographer

Hi Tess. I love the framing in #5 with the canoes, shoe and oar all pointing into the scene. 5 &9 are also a couple of my favorites for the colors and framing. Keep them coming.

You could post all or many on Flickr and reference them in your profile.

Great photos.

As "Queen of the Crop" :

# 6 try a look at less sky.
# 9 try to top of tree on left.
#10 try to bottom & right of big rock
#16 try PP brightening for snow. (Go to - Download Free Software and download "Picasa" free.)
#17 Nice snow and dogs of course.

Great series. A few standouts for me: #2, #5, #6, ... No. I've changed my mind. It's too hard to pick. I'd just have to list nearly all of them. Well done!
