I relocated him 3 times because he kept building webs across areas we walk through and these guys build huge webs. Finally found a place where he is happy and not in anyone's way!

Spiders don't bother me, only two types are dangerous here, and the rest are mostly harmless. In Australia, they have all those killer spiders....that might bother me more, so I can't blame you. Nice composition on that shot, you got the effect well.

The vast majority of spiders in Australia aren't dangerous, and there's antivenene for those that are. There have been no fatalities since the antivenene was developed. Most importantly, you don't find the dangerous ones making webs in trees like this.

Now I see! He is just a big old friendly guy like we have here. Harmless and gets rid of nasty bugs...like that Stink Bug in your shot that is about to become Spider Breakfast ! LOL!

I had a lot of these last Summer......

Nice shot. Yes he is just a golden Orb Weaver and probably a similar species to yours.
