This is a great shot... where is it? Definately conveys to me a flood and serious concerns and worry. The black and white is perfect for the image. Very thought provoking.

Reminds me of a scene we would have seen in Queensland recently from the floods.

A great shot Rense, it is thought provoking and the black and white gives it a pensive mood.

I like Rense's comment. Cry me a river. It is Holland, I believe.

Thanks a lot! It's nearby home, The Netherlands. We experience the the worst floodings in 12 years, but nothing to worry about. The water still stays behind the dykes, which were improved since the last serious problems in 1995...

Thanks for commenting Ash! I can imagine the similarities, but these floods aren't as bad as yours....thankfully!

nice shot.

I would have never thought that the AP was F1.8..Every shot I see I like to try and guess the set up before I look at details....seeing as the foreground in in focus , as is the subject, id have gone for F8.

or is it a crop ?...Id guess the subject { lady} was about 4-5 meters away from you?

Now I really know what it means to get cold feet. Seriously, this is a cool shot that raises question after question.
