Drove up to Lyle WA on the Klickitat river yesterday. The eagles often gather there to gorge on fish. Sadly, the pouring rain seemed to keep them largely in the trees... And I need a longer lens if I'm going to hit them in flight anyway.

I was getting nervous about getting any closer to him, anway... Those talons look mean.

Good shot, you were at a perfect distance

didn't frighten it away..and got a good size, good detail..it's a shame it was a grey day, but still...fine shot.
