Nice, sharp and clear shot.....not bad for 50-200 you got a good copy of that lens.

Nice close up. Only ever seen a blue jay once when we were staying on a ranch near Calgary. They are colourful birds. I think the shot may have been even better if the background hadn't been quite so bright.

Wonderful shot - crisp and clear. What is that thing that looks like an extra-big feather stuck on the front of the wing? Is it just that this particular bird was about to shed a feather or do they all have it? Excuse my southern-hemisphere ignorance on this, incidentally!!
