I'd really like to thank everyone here, and not just for their nice comments.
But also for teaching me something new every time that I log in and see everyones work.
I can't speak for others here, but I try learning something from every picture that I see on this board, and all the comments that I read about them.
Even a bad photo can be used to teach us something

That magic, make a good picture button is the third one from the left
But I've seen your work, and you don't need it

Quote: I image the weather is changing there as well.
That it is. With a little luck I'll be heading into Waterton in a week, and then into Canmore 2 days later.... Calgary in between.
Are you in the area then? If so I'd love the chance to meet you

Quote: Stu, I was thinking this would be one of those spots that if you carefully marked a place to set up the tripod you could take a shot in each season. Note the time of day, lens focal length etc and have a winter, spring and summer shot all in one frame added to this great shot. Might be cool.
Good idea Peter, and consider it as done
I took the pic's from on top of a point, so it's easy to remember where I took it from
I'll post them when I get them

Quote: Why am I stuck at work ... when I could be travelling Canada going to all of these nice places.
Looking at those ... I could picture myself in a deck chair with a drink in my hand ... taking in the beauty.
Your more than welcome to come up for a visit. I'll show you around my stomping grounds.
I'm probably more easy going in person than I am on-line (must be a British Columbia thing)
2 minutes after I snapped the pic's I was in the restaurant, drinking a beer
