Outside a church
Posted By: the swede, 01-17-2011, 09:49 AM

Was unlucky with the weather this day, but went to a nearby church and got some shots before the sun went down.

First one with DA 15, and the rest with DA 40

I like the lighting you got with the DA 15, very nice. It is interesting to see the graveyard at the church, something you don't normally see in the s/w US, nor do you see clocks in the steeple, especially more than one. Nice stain glass photo, thanks for sharing. Bob

Somehow the weather suits the image. The stained glass blues are amazing. I apreciate your perspective on these, very unique and creative....a joy to study!!

Do you know how many people buried in that graveyard are dead?

Well... I dont know about the rest of Europe, but here in Sweden/Scandinavia the church is always surrounded by the graveyard or next to it. Most of the churches here are very old to. This one is from early 1600 i think, restored a couple of times. The graves closest to the church is often the oldest ones.

Hopefully all of them are dead or at least were dead on their funeral.
