Snowflakes
Lens: Pentax A 50mm F2 Camera: Pentax K-x Photo Location: Out my Window ISO: 1600 Aperture: F5

It's been snowing all day today. So I opened my window and let some snowflakes fly in and took lots of pictures with a cheap extension tube I just bought. I sharpened them, added a little contrast, and converted to black & white.

I was about to actually go outside and take some more pictures but the snow just changed to rain.

Thanks everyone. With the high iso and sharpening, the colors seemed a little ugly, so it looked better in black and white. It was actually pretty fun taking these pictures, I just opened my window, waited for a good snowflake, and took some pictures before it melted.

Very cool. That one standing up by itself in the first shot is neat.
