Winter, final series!

This is the final set from my hike the other week. All taken with DA 15 and D-FA Macro WR. Enjoy!

That first one - so simple, yet so nice...it's so easy to look in front, but how often do we simply look up?

The white trees and their snowy ground stands out nicely from the darker trees in the background, and then you catch the reflections - very nice.

#1 & #4 for me. Love the effect of those snow covered branches in #1 and in #4 the contrast between the different tress holds the attention - I'd crop off a bit more of the sky though.

I'm with frogfish, 1 and 4 are spectacular. I agree with cropping also. Wonderful series.

There is so much beauty in winter scenes and you have done it justice with these. Love each one, most especially the first and fourth. I am about to head out for a hike in the woods. It has been snowing for the last 24 hours ... everything is white and gorgeous, like these pictures. Thanks for the inspiration!

Four is for me. Crop the sky and it's top of the crop.

Number 1 is number 1 - they're all great, but the first one is very special - excellent job, in my view.
