Thank you very much, Tamia. The heron had some problems swallowing the fish but at last it finally went down.

This is a great series. Looks like that fish put up a good fight, or maybe the heron just bit off more than he could chew! Thanks for sharing!

Shooting White Heron in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, now Eh! I wonder if it was coloured would they shoot it? Or maybe it went to the wrong church. Strange they did not use a bomb!

Thanks to all for the nice comments. The F* 300 is by far my best buy, bought it used 2 years ago from Japan. The lens is 20 years old now and still delivers excellent IQ. The photos are much better than shown here, they are very hard compressed by the site I uploaded them to. I'll have to move to another site.

I am not sure if I understand what you mean here. Is there something wrong with Sharm El Sheikh or Egypt?
