Water Over Ice
Lens: DA 50-200mm Camera: K200D Photo Location: Northern Adirondacks ISO: 100

Ice is building up thickly on the waterfalls along the river, and the formations provide plenty of appeal if you like to photograph ice. I found this spot particularly interesting because of the way the water streamed off a portion of the falls right in front of a mysterious dark cave, but couldn't get as close as I'd like (not without a snorkel, anyway).

As the others have said, wonderful captures Tamia. The second is my favorite if I am forced to pick one.

Tamia - I'm just wondering. If you couldn't get as close as you'd have liked - how close did you want to get? Any closer and it looks like you'd have needed a wet suit!

All are nice - but I'm particularly drawn to the first. Great captures.

Thanks very much for your kind words, everyone. Tim, I had hoped to get close enough to pretty much fill the frame with the darker "cave" -- these are cropped.
