The Falls are beautiful in the winter. Unfortunately, most visitors come during the warmer months. It was cold ( 6* ) that morning, and as I was heading out freezing, the last pic shows "old man winter" seemingly laughing at me.

My son lives in Niagara Falls. He takes this incredible wonder for granted. Thanks for reminding us just how special it is... even in winter. The rainbow is nice, the viewer is funny, but number two is stunning!!

We were there a little while ago and popped by the falls since we were there anyway. Unfortunately, I forgot my documents and couldn't go over to the Canadian side (much nicer). But snapped a few quick shots. They look pretty nice at night. The Canadians shine colored lights on them. Didn't stay long - it was FRIGID the night we were there.

Great shots, the falls are impressive any time of year but personally i think they are at their most awe inspiring in the winter. and winter night shots at the falls can be real stunners

nice stuff, the American side is holding up well since that corp of engineers shutdown in 69 to reinforce and delay erosion (If you aren't old enough to remember it the American side was shut down for a good chunk of 69 an engineering marvel at the time, i remember going to see it with my parents wish I had the negs from that trip)
