The slant on this image works with the difficulty of maintaining balance on the ball. Nice shot.

EDIT: Do you mean by using the word 'girl'? Not sure why. Anyway I've uploading it to my site as 'Waterfront kid'.

Good question. It is a bit more difficult. But many of my favourite street photos are of kids, so I don't really have a problem with it. I just see it as part of the 'life' street photography tries to capture.

No, I don't have a problem with it either, but I am not completely sure 'the crowd' hasn't....

"A Waterfront Girl" around the local waterfront here is a derogatory term applied to the girls that sell their bodies.

I do not understand the issues with the title or context of this photo??? Are you speaking politically, socially? I only see a wonderful image of a young girl playing on a boardwalk...
