I can remember a number of these running around in the '50's. People in those days seemed to trade cars almost yearly, but truck owners (mostly businesses and farmers) kept their vehicles for a long period.

Oh, and this is one terrific image, Bob.

That is a nice image, but I don't recall the truck in my time. If Sparkles was learning to drive one of those, we are indeed fortunate to have her here with us at such a ripe old age!

Is it your truck or someone you know? Fine looking machine. This has nothing to do with this except for the "Grill".....but I will post it anyhow, because I am currently bored and should be working on my Taxes instead of reading here......

I just happened to catch this one in a parking lot, not sure who owns it, but I bet it cost a few bucks to re-chrome the grill. Nice "grilled butterfly", a delicacy probably in Perth Australia.
