I've guessed that its the 28mm, but it could also have been 50mm f1.7. Its unfortunate, but I got the hyperfocal setting wrong and the foreground is out of focus, but only noticeable when viewed really large, but its how I'd have liked to have this printed ultimately. Always finding new ways to improve...

Scanned by the lab.

Thanks for bringing this area to my attention. Never knew it existed. Expect you will have to do it over. Too much haze and re your own comments. Take lots of photos at bracketed settings so you can have choices. ISO 200 max, f 8 +. UV filter is standard and for protection. Possible a good quality polarizer is another option for some shots.

This is a tough one especially since you used film and the image is scanned so I have no idea what effect that may have on what I am seeing. The background is a funny shade of green and kind of hazy but looks better IMHO if the top is cropped to the tops of the darker ridge. I like the shot though.
By the way, I don't believe you need a UV filter if you have a lens hood. That usually offers plenty of protection for the lens and means less glass between you and the subject.
