Just for fun! I really enjoy taking these types of photos while on hikes with my dogs.

You should by a cat then you could stay indoors when the weather turns nasty. Of course,then we wouldn't get to see what your eye manages to pick up on those jaunts. I love the second, third and last ones the best. The colors are amazing. You have a good eye and if you ever want to sell it I am in the market.

I love the sharpness and vivid colour of these shots and there's certainly nothing wrong with the composition either. Well done.

Thanks eaglem, Bob and Charlie... I am never sure about the appeal of these sorts of photos so I am really happy to hear you liked them. I always think in terms of Oceans and Tide Pools when out on my hikes... if there isn't an oceanic view to be had, sometimes I can find lots of life in the tiniest enclaves.
