I have been going through my pics since I got a pentax (2008) and we tend to travel a lot so I have decided to bore you with shots from some of the places we have been to but they will be posted in no particular order. Most will be snapshots and of no great photographic value but I do hope you enjoy them just the same.
The first group comes to you from Zion NP in 2009.

Very enjoyable set, Susan. When was that trip - Spring? I plan to visit Zion this year, and would like to catch wildflowers, as shown on your pictures.

I like the first jet trail shot.

I enjoyed the hikes there, especially the 4-mile zigzag up to Observation Point.

slowpez, I so enjoy travel shots and these are just gorgeous. You and Bob and quite a few others here on Pentax probably have no idea how much I love seeing your travelogues. I'll know my chances of getting to these places personally are slim, so this vicarious view into your world is wondrous and appreciated. That rock formation is incredible. It is a beautiful colour and the river running through the photos is beautiful too. That cactus is incredible! What is it... is it peyote? wow Thanks for sharing!!

Nice shots Susan. I hope to get there someday.
While all are nice, I think my favorite is the 4th one.

Thanks for sharing.....

Thanks for looking everyone. We were there in September so the water level was down. The red bits on the cactus (pear cactus I think) are seed pods left over from the flower. They usually bloom in the spring and I hope to be in the desert at the right time later this year.
Take care all and be sure to look out for the next segment when I get around to posting it.
