K-x Excitement!!!!!
Lens: DA 18- 135 Camera: K-x Photo Location: the woods
Posted By: tessfully, 01-27-2011, 12:44 PM

Took my new camera on my hike today. Tossed lots in the trash as I figure things out ... but ... OMG this is an amazing camera and lens! I know there is lots of room for improvement, however I had no idea (my) pictures could look like this!!!

this one is just weird, but cool

welcome the world of the k-x tess... i've had mine for about 1 year.. and really love it...
thought about going to the k-r, but the image quality is about the same.... and the k-5 is $$$,
so i still happily drag my k-x everywhere..... dave m

Good to see you continually enjoying your photography.
The last 2 are fine examples.
You're already seeing the benefits of going from your P&S to now a responsive little dSLR.
Congrats and keep shooting.

thanks everyone! everything is black and white, brown and beige with the odd wintergreen thrown in...a little red bud against some snow and I get so excited! I cannot imagine what it will be like once winter is over and all the colours start exploding and animals return!
