Yeatzee's setup progression (with IMG)

Went from:

Quick and dirty video of my setup.. | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

It weighs a metric ton, but so far so good

Here's the first of the images I took today with it:

4 images stacked with the setup pictured above.

I cannot believe the amount of color it was able to bring out in the eyes... mesmerizing for sure

Looks good, Yeatzee. You get some awesome jumpers with it. I haven't seen very many jumpers, must be too hot for them in my area at the moment. I'm looking forward to autumn, I'll hopefully start to see more of them then.

I'm looking to get a flash bracket soon also, is it difficult to work with (especially in tight areas like some garden spots)?

I have not run into any problems thus far in the field

Great technique!

Which where the lenses you used? I could not understand it in the video - so fast for a not native speaker. Thank you.

Is the spider amaurotic now?

I use a broken M 50mm F/1.7.... in the video I used a sigma 105mm macro with a reversed m 50mm. That was my setup a LONG time ago

The good: The new METZ flash arrived so I was able to try a 2 flash setup along with new diffuser ideas. So far I am VERY pleased

The bad: Right as I was getting everything dialed in I had to stop because of homework requirements (). Soooo I have really nothing to show for all of my hard work today. I'll post what little i have in a bit.... tomorrow I will resume where I left off (also plan on making a video ).

Finally, in all of my days of macro photography.... today I achieved soft light!
