The slightly frosty buds on my Rhododendron bush seemed to invite some exploration with my M50 1.7 this morning.







And then there was this one, unremarkable I think- except for the interesting area upper right:

I just learned what bokeh was yesterday when I accidentally took a few photos that had this effect. So now I have a new appreciation and these are really really cool. I like the first one best, love the colours. I do wish you had got more of the drooping leaves. But, great shots of an interesting time in a plants life.

I also prefer the first one as the bokeh seems to get lost in the B&W. Poor plant, do you think it will make it? They are pretty hardy I guess.

Hmm, probably should have put these in the M Club thread- I must have too active an imagination, lol. And to think, I never see faces in clouds, or on burnt toast, or tacos...
