Arnhem with the Jupiter-9
Lens: Guess what! Jupiter-9 85mm F2 Camera: K20d Photo Location: Arnhem, NL ISO: 400
Posted By: Rense, 01-29-2011, 01:56 AM

Usually I do street photography with one of the classical lens lengths: 50mm, 35mm
or 25mm. Yesterday, when I did some hours of streets in Arnhem, I thought I'd use
a strange length - at least for me - and mount my Jupiter-9 85mm F2. It's a pre-set
Soviet lens which I hardly use, but when I have it mounted, I am almost always blown away by it's quality...

Well, enough words, photos!

This one is especially for the Dutch speaking members! The board says: "The appearance of 2010"....

Wonderful, Rense. Some of the images have a kind of 1970s feel. Strangers is my favorite as well, and Righto is a great catch, but they are are great. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Iris. Some might not consider it as street photography

Really an unsusual focal length for street shots - but great results, Rense. I love the first one!
