Crater Lake NP. We didn't get to spend enough time here and did not get to hike down to lake level. Guess we will just have to go back.

you really captured the true blue of Crater Lake in the first shot, this is a beautiful area. I have never seen a boat on the water the different times we were there. thanks Bob

Thanks guys. My husband still keeps saying "I can't believe how blue the water is." Drives me nuts.

When I was there 25 years ago, it was about the same weather. Last June, snow - which was nice in its own way, though I only had a couple brief clear glimpses of the lake.

I heard a 1-ft diameter disc was lowered and could be seen at 138 feet or so down. It's all snow-melt and rain water...

One of my favorite places to visit. the blues are the bluest I have ever seen and you captured them so well
