Nothing special but I thought that maybe that I could get a half way decent shot. The icicles were a foot away and the scene was shot handheld at .3 sec--f6.7--1600 iso.The snowbanks around the Boston area are very dangerous to see around and more snow may be coming next week---charliezap

nice shot. makes me chilly just looking at it. a bit noisy when looking at the house across the street. lowering the iso with a longer exposure might help a bit. cool!

No way I could make a decision about what to shoot, so I just took a fisheye of the windows, and ran it through CS2 HDR. Here ya go. The ridge line visible out the windows to the left ia across the Madawaska River.

Outside my office window at home. It's more-or-less in the shade, but reads a degree or two high. It's quite warm here

It's minus 30 here today Richard. I can open a window from the front deck and it acts like kind of a blind to take pictures of the feeder from. I'd take more pictures but it's too cold to stand at an open window for long.

This is 65 degree celcisus swing from the thermometer above, and it was -32 when we got up this morning.

Thanks to normhead for directing me to this thread. -30C here yesterday with the windchill so I focused on some dried berries outside my living room window:

Our property borders with a state park so I should theoretically be able to contribute a lot to this thread . I'll keep it in mind in the future. For now here are some shots.

Outside my window

We're supposed to get another foot tonight. We've had approx. 130" since November.

Thanks to everyone who responded to this thread especially with the pictures.Originally I just posted it as a"matter of fact" type of photo but it's nice to see that it has taken on a small life of it own.I'm going to take some shots from the same spot in a few moments because if you have been following the weather forcast there is going to be some major league snow coming in in the next couple of days.I,m going to send in my "before" shot and God only knows what the "after" pic will look like.---charliezap
