Well, first of all it is in the Post your photos forum instead of the critique forum. Second, there isn't really anything not work safe about it, so I bet a lot of people didn't look at it.

Not bad at all. ActuallyI very much like the shot and even better, the way it was processed. Very nicely done.

I'm going to remove the NWS because IMO it's fine for everyone to view.

No comments shouldn't be interpreted as a bad result.
I do like it - the concept is good and the model beautifully and flatteringly posed.
There is very bold contrast, which is no doubt intentionally blowing out significant highlight detail, but it isn't too detestable. I appreciate the creative use of that harsh off-camera lighting you employed, and the silhouetting shadow it cast by her side. Nicely complementary.
I don't think you need anyone's approval that your work is good when you create work like this.

that picture is like the hot girl that doesn't get hit on at the pub. and wonders why...we all know the reason...she so hot, we all think we aint got a chance..so we dont bother..

your image is so very good....that it gets no comments...its to hot...

bloody great work mate....awesome composure and setting, the PP and the models clothing gives it a sixties sort of look to my eye...I love it

...And the very pretty girl goes home every night lonely disappointed and discouraged. Finally you see her clinging to the very first bloke who had the guts to ask her out!

I am still too new in photography to have confidence in my work; but i like photography too much that i am now making some of the biggest decisions in my life because of it (house/car/business), all the while wondering if i am not also making the biggest mistakes in my life.

Cant stop though >_<

Thanks guys

Just remember not to throw all your eggs in one basket in the early stages.
You still need a home and a way to get around.

Thanks ash

It may sound weird, but I am actually facing a backward situation; trying to get my life in order so i can get this photography business going. That is, actually looking for a house, and car, etc....its scary
Maybe its a good thing >_<.

But so once in a while i sober up; and ask myself...um, so why am I doing this again? Am i even good enough to start a serious business?

Honestly I hope even if I fail the photography business; I'd at least have introduced some semblance of order here. And hopefully, not leave myself in a bigger mess than when I started!
