I didn't do it.
Nobody saw me do it.
You can't prove I did it.

Way too funny. Caught at the scene of the crime. I'm still laughing.

I think he is guilty. Yep, he did it. Had to have done it. Look at his face. Oh yes, he is definitely guilty.

The dog is not guilty!

Another flagrant case of justice malfunction here.

Please take your dog out and play with him. That's my prescription (for free).

Best Regards.

Manel,
I have to agree wholeheartedly with your assessment. This is the result of a very smart, high drive dog that has no outlet for her mental and physical energy when I am away at work and she is alone in the kitchen. We live in the NE USA and the past few weeks have been horrible. We have not been able to get out and work/train and can't even play/throw the ball due to frozen snow (don't want to risk injury).
The plea was no contest, and the sentence - released on own recognisance.

I have Border Collies and when it is colder than -15 we cannot run enough to make them happy... just too cold for their paws. They end up chasing light reflections on the ceiling and walls in the house... their craziness can drive me crazy.

And I know that face so well! Wonderful photo... it tells the story loud and clear!

I was making a sort of statement. I knew beforehand what was your verdict. Otherwise, you wouldn't be posting the case, in a such friendly disposition.

Why a statement you may ask. Well, for some people, understanding dogs behavior can be an unattainable task, whereas for me it's more or less straightforward, almost as simple as understanding humans.
Nevertheless, collies are rather intelligent guys so, based on the evidence you provided, I wasn't really sure, to tell you the truth (please forgive the presumptuousness of some of my words, but I can't help it, for dogs sake in this current case).

Best regards to you and to your dog.
