Along with some really old Bristlecone Pines. They may look dead but are not.

Susan - That second shot is very "Ansel Adams-ish"! Nice job.

That pine is alive, huh? I'm afraid if that was in the yard up at the cabin, I'd assume it's only purpose would be to feed the woodpeckers!

I LOVE the shots of the giant rocks on the Oregon coast. I'm going to have to get over there someday. (I may have a kid going to college out there soon, so of course we'd HAVE TO go visit her!)

the bristlecones are ageless almost and your photos are quite beautiful. We will be spending a month this year on the Oregon coast, hope I can get as good as photos as yours. thanks Bob

Susan, I must agree with Barry. I would most certainly never be able to see those places myself, but it is a joy to watch it through your lens. keep them coming!
