Here are some pictures from yesterdays blizzard in Northern Illinois. We got at least 20 inches, with 5 foot drifts in many places.

It had actually stopped snowing here, but you can hardly tell with the wind:

The plow came about 12 hours after the snow stopped. This was taken just after it got stuck and had to be pulled out by another plow. I used a 2 second shutter speed to add motion to the plow.

Wow - these shots bring back memories of our years in Ohio and Michigan; they do an excellent job of depicting the look and after effect of a real blizzard. Wel done and BBBBBRRRRRR. . . . . . .

Great job on exposure with all the snow. The second one especially is very nice. Like how you captured the rescue of the snow plow too.

The most amazing thing about this forum is seeing how others are living moment to moment... you guys were really walloped by snow. Great pics and the snow plow photo is amazing.
