I took a walk in the woods today, tough walking too in that deep snow!

Here are a few I got.

Please feel free to critique these..

Great shots, scott. I already felt cold by looking at them. There must be strong glare and intense light reflection from the white snow, hence white balance and exposure compensation would be difficult.

The first pic would be even more appealing if the foreground (wood stump) is sharper. Just my 0.0001 cent

Actually in number one the snow on the stump looks like an alien (conehead) skull to me, totally puts me off!

I don't know, why not crop out the evil alien conehead and use it in a What is this forum?

As to the rosehips, I like them, they came out nicely exposed in a difficult lighting situation. Unless you had ND filters all around, I doubt you could have done it better.
