Arches National Park

It is interesting to see what water, ice, salt, extreme temperatures, a major fault and wind can do to sandstone over 100 million years of time. Beautiful area to auto-tour and hike as you want.

You're right Bob - Nature's pretty amazing, and you got some nice captures of some great scenery.
I think I'd avoid hiking too close in that last one however. That balancing rock looks a little precarious - and top-heavy!

Thanks for sharing.....

Oh, very nice! I love that last one, the patterns in the rocks are really eye-catching.

Great captures Bob. People look at that red rock and those blue skies and think they were PP'd to bring out the colors when the whole time mother nature was responsible.
Did you hike the Fiery Furnace with the ranger? Awesome trail with several hidden arches. We even hiked to Delicate Arch but I only had a P&S at the time. Tough hiking indeed.

We went up to Delicate Arch and I have a few good photos, but they are on my other computer which is in the back of a storage in the MH, probably never to be seen again. Here is a long shot of it, you can see people walking around up there and another formation.
