I went snowshoeing up in the mountains today with my nephew and my Dad. We had a lot of fun and as usual, I took my camera along for the hike.

Here are a few pictures I took along the way.

The snow adds so much beauty to the Rockies and you captured it well, love #2 especially. What a great experience for your nephew, make sure he has a camera to follow your lead. Thanks for posting, we will be in CO in October to visit family.

love these photos, very evocative - #2 is by far my favorite, it just sucks your eyes toward the mountain...

Thanks everyone. I didn't have much time to take pictures (too busy throwing my nephew into snow banks

). These were just a few snaps along the way.

If you ever get the chance, try snowshoeing in the mountains. A whole lot of fun and the scenery isn't too bad either!

Beautiful photos, and I agree with above that #2 is terrific. I would love to try snow shoeing sometime. Not enough snow and not enough mountains here in Alabama.
