Canadian Snowbirds, Campground Bulging
Camera: K-x Photo Location: Arizona

About 1/3 of the campground is filled with fellow RVers from Canada. Today the temperature was 78, so you can see why so many come down south to spend the winter with us.

Norm, the only thing is when they grow up, they consume about 7 mpg of diesel, tires cost $500 each, an oil change requires about 38 quarts, air filters are about $130 and you just hope you don't have a major breakdown. If I were you, I would stick with children, although mine are grown and still seem to be costing us a lot. Now that I think of it, stay single, no children and travel light.

Susan what is funny, in a couple of months, the temps will be in the 90's and the park will almost be empty. When June arrives and temps are 100 plus, the river rats come in with boats, jet skis and anything that floats and enjoy the Colorado River which runs at the back of the campground.

You know, I need to just hook up a bike or something to your RV and let you pull me along on your travels. You sure do visit some fantastic sites!
