Using my Raynox 250
Lens: Raynox DCR-250 Camera: Canon S3 IS
Posted By: RonakG, 02-13-2011, 11:07 AM

These are the photos I have taken using my P&S with Raynox 250 macro lens. Just can't wait for my K-x to arrive to pair it up with the 250.

And finally a video I have taken using the 250 -

EDIT: Somehow the youtube embedded video gets removed when I submit the thread. So here is the link to video -

You've done well with these, I should use my Raynox 250 more often.

Nice set, quality shots especially from p&s and Raynox. I'd say you've got the hang of it. Really like the dragonfly.

Thanks a lot guys. My K-x is on its way. Have been tracking the package for last 2 days. It's just 5 miles away from me and am now just waiting for the doorbell to ring .

Lovely set. I like the PM best !

There is absolutely no doubt the Kx is a better camera that any P&S on the market - however you might find it tough to begin with to replicate the shots you have here, there'll be quite a steep learning curve as the DoF will be quite a bit less than you are used to with the P&S (though quality will be higher) and you'll need to keep your subjects well lit ... the useable high ISO of the Kx should help too !
