.. when i was a kid..... long time ago.. i was told that if i misbehaved (which was a common occurance), mr jones from the 'bad boy' school would be called and summoned to our home.... yes.. it did strike fear into me.....
this chapel was part of a complex of buildings, known as the sockanosset training school for boys..... here's some of it's intriguing history....
the builders saved this structure, and integrated it into the upscale shopping center being built, along with premium condos....

clicking once and twice will show different sizes of the first shot......

Interesting!

That stone work looks amazing. If I had the chance, I would go for some detail shots on that wall...

Thanks for sharing.

The first two are really amazing. Thanks for allowing for the smaller images as it made it easier for me to see the whole photo at one time.

building has nice geometric lines and textures in the stonework. I too would not want anything to do with a building looking like that if I was a kid--scared straight

Great shots, Dave. I'm with Scott - I wouldn't have wanted to go near the place when I was young (a very long time ago, BTW).

Like the last one as well - was it possible to get a different angle - the structure in the background looks a bit unbalanced.
