... nice to see older buildings rehabilitated as opposed to being razed and ugly prehab structures erected in their place.... this older building with it's beautiful stonework is now the home to rhode island's department of labor and training....

click once or twice to see in difference sizes...

not really sure... granite most likely, lots of it in new england, we had many quarries here.. trying to find out the history of this building... we had quite the mental health complex years ago, now defunct... dave m

A beautiful restoraton - seems like New England works harder preserve buildings rather than consign them to the wrecking ball.
