Smiling Eyes
Lens: Tamron 18-250 Camera: K20D Photo Location: Texas ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/90s Aperture: F5.6

Just a quick snap of Kathryn as I checked out at lunch today. I've been trying to use the Tamron 18-250 lately, I forgot I even had it. It is a great little walkabout lens, no Ltd for sure, but it gets the job done without much complaint. This one shot at 55MM, where I am betting the DA 55-300 would have done equally as well...or even better? Sometimes that 18-55 range is handy to have though.
Best Regards

Kathryn, she always has those smiling eyes!

Seen your title and thought it warmed up a little bit for you Rupert.A lovely pic
of a lovely lass.Dont have that Tammy but do the DA55-300,seems like
the tammy would be a bit less intimidating, with folks anyway.IQ seems fine with it.
Why my wife does all the people stuff,Im afraid I'll poke someone in the nose.

Thanks Bill, she is a lovely girl and is always smiling! I have the Tammy 18-250 and also the Bigma 50-500, so it is hard for me to justify the DA 55-300, but I keep trying. Almost all the shots I see from the 55-300 impress me, and I have seen a ton of them. That could well be the best lens value in the world at its very reasonable price?
Best Regards!

You bet Rupert, and is one of the few consumer zooms useable (& sharp) wide open at any focal length. Nice smile - both in the eyes and mouth.

Thanks Ash/Bob/Tommot.......I keep trying to get her in my little Studio, but she goes to school and works very long hours, so it has not worked out yet. We almost had a day of it until the Great Blizzard blew in two weeks ago and stopped everything.
Best Regards & Thanks for the comments!

This shot is from last month....may be a little better hair color? These girls are always playing with their hair color!

Thank you guys! I found that second on in a folder from last month that I had not processed. I have a ton of unprocessed shots of my girls...I need to work on them I guess?

I am mostly a Squirrel shooter, but got interested in shooting people a year or so back and find it equally satisfying. I have a little Fuji X100 coming next month, and hopefully it will be a nice "people shooter" for candid walkabout shooting.

I do appreciate the comments, it has helped me greatly to get feedback on this Forum.
Best Regards
Rupert
