So I got a media pass for Formula Drift Final Round7 in Irwindale CA on October 13, 2007.

longest lens I own is a Pentax F-Zoom 70-200 4-5.6 WITHOUT SMC
so i went to RITZ(sux) and bought a QuantaGAY 70-300... $165 w/tax included
since we cant rent lenses everywhere like c*n*kon I HAD TO BUY ONE and well this was the longest and only one available and gave it a test drive... here are some of the shots

first time with a media pass and that was the only day i shot with that lens, i returned it yesterday (sunday)

I agree with Mike on the panning on that second shot... and the framing... great one. I can smell it.

Had a look through your Flickr gallery, well done, keep up the good work.

I've got a drift practice day to shoot on Saturday the 27th October and then I have a full access media pass for this: Drift Challenge, keep an eye out for the threads.

I was a bit too late for the one up here....But I do get to shoot a bunch of local events
I have one on the 28th I'm very excited to shoot and try some new things
