No worries - I was concerned when you mentioned a file size of 80MB. An LZW compressed TIFF should be similar in size to the RAW file.

Thank you! I'm glad I had it on 400ISO and with Program mode set to bias toward shutter speed - it helped keep the image crisp despite being hand held.

Thanks! The males in breeding season have a red colouring on their chest, which makes for cool photos - it's a bit late for that, so I'll have to wait for spring.

As Ash mentioned, it really shows what the 55-300 can do. You don't have to spend an arm and a leg to get good glass, but it helps to get something better than a kit lens.
